I feel like a little kid conducting a science experiment when preparing for these images. The whole process keeps me curious. Every flower freezes differently. They release gas bubbles in different patterns, sizes and amounts. Their petals sometimes change or lose colour, some remain opaque, some become translucent.
Once out of the freezer I have to work very quickly to capture images as I live in a very hot environment and the subject melts rapidly.
